Local Solutions to a Global Crisis.

Thrive International walks alongside refugee and immigrant families across Washington as they rebuild their lives, one story at a time.

Our Mission

Our mission is to empower refugees and other immigrants to thrive.

Thrive International is innovating how local communities respond to the refugee crisis in America. We have two transitional housing centers in Washington State (Spokane and Tacoma) that serve refugee families while providing on-site programming and education tailored to their needs.

Homework Club needs you.

Homework Club is where refugee and immigrant kids catch up, keep up, and start to feel at home in a new school. It runs on volunteers who can give a couple of hours a week to sit beside a young person who's carrying more than a backpack.

“Thrive Center has been a miracle in Spokane.”

- Washington State Governor, former governor Jay Inslee

Since 2022, Thrive International has become Washington State’s largest provider of supportive housing for migrants, serving thousands of individuals and families with dignity and care. With more than 220 residents in Spokane and 370 in Tacoma, Thrive delivers far more than shelter; it provides stability, safety, and a pathway to belonging, all under one roof.

Led by the community it serves, with over half of the staff being former migrants, Thrive pairs housing with empowerment programs, case management, and cultural celebrations to create measurable, positive change for migrants and the communities they now call home.
